Thrustmaster SF1000: Full Skins, Top Decals and Rear Details

The Thrustmaster Formula Wheel Add-On Ferrari SF1000 Edition has a distinctive face: a large central screen, rows of LEDs and a cluster of colour-coded rotary controls. Personalising it starts with one practical choice: do you want to change the main face, add a name above the screen, or decorate the rear?

Those are different products in the Lovely Stickers SF1000 collection. A top decal is not a full face skin, and a rear sticker set does not include the wheel. This guide helps you choose the area you want to change, check the exact model and understand the preparation involved.

What makes the SF1000 recognisable?

Thrustmaster specifies a 270 mm-wide wheel with a 4.3-inch display, 21 LEDs, up to 25 action buttons and seven encoders. Its central faceplate is carbon fibre, with textured rubber grips and magnetic shift paddles. These are useful identifying features when comparing your wheel with a product preview. See the official SF1000 product page.

For decoration, the important detail is the space around those features. A dedicated SF1000 template follows the faceplate and leaves openings for the screen, lights and controls. A similar Ferrari livery on another wheel is not enough to establish fitment. Match the model name and the cutout layout before choosing the colours.

Base compatibility and telemetry are separate checks

The SF1000 is a wheel add-on, so your base, attachment hardware and platform still matter. Start with Thrustmaster’s compatibility information for the exact base and wheel version you own. A sticker changes the appearance; it cannot add console support, a different quick release or extra telemetry functions.

The official support page distinguishes SF1000 versions with and without Wi-Fi. Screen behaviour also depends on the game and connection route. At our check on 1 October 2026, the 2026_TTRS_2 release notes recommend SF1000 firmware 9.18 specifically for Wi-Fi/UDP use on Xbox with TX and TS-XW bases. This is not a blanket recommendation for every SF1000 setup: the general firmware notice still lists 9.15. Follow the current instructions for your configuration before updating.

Which SF1000 sticker product do you need?

Choose by the area you want to personalise
Your aim Product to look for Check before ordering
Change the main colour scheme SF1000 front-face livery Faceplate outline, screen opening and rotary-control cutouts
Add your name or a short personal detail SF1000 custom top decal Your chosen text and the placement above the screen
Add replica-style details behind the wheel SF1000 rear sticker set The rear-view preview and the pieces shown for that reference

Build your selection around a particular view of the wheel. For example, changing the face is the most direct way to bring a different colour scheme into your driving view. A top name decal is a smaller personal touch. Rear details make more sense if you want to complete the appearance around the back. Buy each area deliberately rather than assuming a matching design name includes everything.

A main face skin: the Gulf Porsche 917 example

The Gulf Porsche 917 Livery for the SF1000, reference TSF029, uses pale blue and orange around the screen and controls. Its listing explicitly identifies the Thrustmaster TM SF1000 Formula Wheel Add-On. The flat catalogue artwork below is particularly useful: it shows where the screen, buttons and rotary controls sit within the design.

Use this view alongside the product’s fitted preview. Check the markings you rely on during a race, not just the overall colour. If a control has a different function in your game, make sure you can still identify it easily after changing the surrounding artwork.

A custom top decal: keep the original face and add your name

The custom SF1000 top decal, reference SFTT-CUSTOM, targets the upper surface rather than the full front face. The listing states that its dimensions depend on the text you choose. The example below shows the placement; the displayed name is an illustration, not a fixed design you must order.

Before ordering, decide exactly how you want the name written, including capitals and spacing. If you have a long name or a specific layout in mind, contact us with the text and the product link so the request is clear. A top decal is useful when you like the standard carbon-fibre face and want a more discreet change.

Rear details: a separate SF1000 sticker set

The 2026 HP 44 LH Ferrari back SF1000 wheel replica stickers, reference SFTT022, illustrate the third option. The catalogue’s rear view shows the placement of the graphics behind the wheel. It is a decorative sticker product, not a replacement rear housing, paddle set or complete steering wheel.

Read the installation requirements before choosing a full skin

The linked TSF029 listing says the wheel does not need to be dismantled, but it does require removal of six rotary-control knobs and recommends a plastic pry tool. That distinction matters: “no dismantling” does not mean there is no preparation. Read the product instructions and ask us if you are unsure about your wheel or its controls before starting.

The same listing allows application over the original stickers, or after removing them. It warns that removing the originals ruins them and they cannot be put back. Decide whether you want to preserve those originals before peeling anything away. The LS vinyl is also a regular adhesive sticker, not a reusable cover for repeated removal and reapplication.

The custom top decal has a different application method: its instructions use transfer tape, removed after the sticker is applied. Follow the instructions for the product you actually ordered. Work on a clean, dry surface, compare the pieces before removing their backing and keep the display, lights and moving controls unobstructed.

Quick questions before ordering

Does a main SF1000 skin include a custom name and rear decals?

Do not assume so. The main livery, custom top decal and rear set linked here have separate product references. Check the pieces and options on each listing for the areas you want to cover.

Can I use a Ferrari F1 or SF-25 kit instead?

Choose a product explicitly listed for your SF1000. Sharing a brand, team or livery theme does not establish that two wheels use the same sticker template. If your wheel is modified or the preview does not match, ask us before ordering.

What if I want another design?

Send the design idea, your exact wheel model and a relevant product link through our Contact page or email info@lovelystickers.com. A clear front photo is helpful when checking an unfamiliar version or modified wheel. Buying for someone else? Our sim racing gift guide explains what to confirm with the recipient.
