Returns, Withdrawal and Refund Policy

This policy explains the conditions applicable to cancellations, statutory withdrawal rights, returns, defective products and refunds.

Nothing in this policy limits any mandatory consumer rights available under applicable law.

1. Contacting us

Before returning a product, please contact us in writing so that we can provide the correct return instructions:

2. Right of withdrawal for eligible products

Consumers who benefit from a statutory right of withdrawal, including consumers located in the European Union, may withdraw from the purchase of an eligible product within 14 days without giving a reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which the customer, or a third party designated by the customer other than the carrier, physically receives the product.

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the customer must send a clear written statement before the withdrawal period expires to:

The model withdrawal form provided at the end of this policy may be used, but its use is not mandatory.

Contacting us before returning the product allows us to provide the correct instructions. Our prior approval is not required for the valid exercise of a statutory withdrawal right.

3. Products excluded from the right of withdrawal

In accordance with Article L221-28, 3° of the French Consumer Code, the statutory right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made according to the consumer’s individual specifications or goods that are clearly personalised.

This exclusion may apply to:

• stickers containing a customer’s name, text, initials or personal race number;
• products incorporating a logo, photograph, image, design or file supplied by the customer;
• products made to bespoke dimensions outside the standard catalogue options;
• designs created or substantially modified specifically for the customer;
• products manufactured according to individual instructions agreed with the customer;
• other products that are genuinely unique and made according to personal requirements.

The applicability of this exclusion is assessed according to the actual nature of the product and the applicable law.

The absence of a right of withdrawal does not affect the customer’s rights where a personalised product is defective, damaged, incorrectly produced or does not conform to the order.

4. Order cancellations

Cancellation requests should be sent as soon as possible to info@lovelystickers.com.

For standard products, we will make reasonable efforts to cancel the order before dispatch.

For a product made according to individual specifications or clearly personalised, cancellation may no longer be possible once design work, printing, cutting, laminating or another production stage has started.

Where no statutory cancellation right applies, any cancellation accepted after production has begun is a commercial gesture and may take account of work already completed.

5. Returning an eligible product

After notifying us of the decision to withdraw, the customer must return the product without undue delay and no later than 14 days after sending the withdrawal notice.

The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning a product under the right of withdrawal, unless we agree otherwise or the return is necessary because of our error, a defect or non-conformity.

We recommend using a trackable shipping service and retaining proof of dispatch until the return has been completed.

6. Condition of returned products

The customer may inspect a product only to the extent reasonably necessary to establish its nature, characteristics and suitability, in the same manner as would normally be possible in a physical shop.

The customer may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is reasonably necessary for that inspection.

Where reasonably possible, products should be returned with their original packaging and accompanying materials. Missing original packaging does not automatically invalidate a statutory withdrawal.

A sticker or decal that has been installed, applied, separated from its backing paper, cut, modified, contaminated or damaged may have suffered a significant reduction in value.

7. Refund following withdrawal

Where a valid right of withdrawal is exercised, we will refund the payments received for the returned product.

The refund will also include the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original order.

Additional delivery costs resulting from the customer choosing an express, premium or more expensive delivery method are not refundable beyond the cost of the least expensive standard method.

The refund will be made without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we are informed of the withdrawal.

We may withhold the refund until we have received the returned product or until the customer provides evidence that it has been sent back, whichever occurs first.

The refund will be issued using the original payment method unless the customer expressly agrees to another method that does not result in additional charges.

8. Defective, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming products

If a product is defective, damaged during delivery, incorrectly produced or does not correspond to the order, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible:

Please provide:

• the order number;
• a clear description of the problem;
• clear photographs of the product;
• photographs of the packaging and shipping label where relevant;
• any other information reasonably needed to investigate the issue.

Depending on the circumstances and applicable legal rights, the appropriate solution may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Where a return is necessary because of our error, a defect or non-conformity, Lovely Stickers will bear the reasonable return costs and replacement delivery costs.

9. Incorrect customer selections or information

A product is not considered defective solely because the customer:

• selected the wrong equipment model or version;
• selected the wrong size, colour, finish or configuration;
• provided incorrect text, spelling, dimensions, numbers or instructions;
• approved a proof containing an error that was clearly visible in that proof.

This does not apply where the problem results from an error by Lovely Stickers or incorrect information displayed on the website.

10. Products damaged during installation

Damage caused by incorrect installation, unsuitable tools, inappropriate cleaning products, excessive heat, contaminated surfaces, modification of the product or failure to follow the installation instructions is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Each situation may nevertheless be reviewed individually based on the information and photographs supplied.

11. Legal guarantees

This policy does not limit the legal guarantee of conformity, the guarantee against hidden defects or any other mandatory legal remedy.

Consumers may invoke the French legal guarantee of conformity for a lack of conformity appearing within two years from delivery.

12. Late or missing refunds

After a refund is issued, the customer’s bank, card issuer or payment provider may require additional processing time before displaying the transaction.

If an approved refund has not appeared after the normal processing period, the customer should contact their payment provider and then contact us at info@lovelystickers.com.

13. Customers outside the European Union

Customers outside the European Union may benefit from mandatory cancellation, return or refund rights under the law applicable to them.

Where no mandatory right of withdrawal applies, a return requested solely because the customer changed their mind may be accepted or refused at our discretion.

14. Model withdrawal form
